长城 The Great Wall

Zhōngguó Chángchéng shì shìjiè shàng zuì cháng de qiáng. Tā zài Běijīng fùjìn, quán cháng bā qiān bā bǎi wǔshíyī gōnglǐ. Chángchéng yǒu liǎng qiān duō nián de lìshǐ, shì Zhōngguó gǔdài zuì zhòngyào de jiànzhù zhī yī.

The Great Wall is the longest wall in the world. It is near Beijing, stretching 8,851 kilometers. With over 2,000 years of history, it is one of the most important structures in ancient China.

Chángchéng zuìchū shì wèile bǎohù guójiā, fángzhǐ dírén jìngōng. Gǔdài Zhōngguó rén yòngle hěnduō nián jiànzào tā, fēicháng xīnkǔ.

The Wall was originally built to protect the country and prevent enemy attacks. Ancient Chinese people spent many years building it, working very hard.

Today, the Wall is a famous tourist site in China. Every year, millions of visitors come here. They enjoy climbing the Wall, taking photos, and learning about its history.
