Say you come across an old-time acquaintance or classmate and are about to part with him/her after chatting, what would you most likely do? If it’s in China, people will certainly do one thing: 加好友（jiāhǎoyǒu）! It means to add friends on Wechat or other apps.
As Wechat is gaining more and more popularity, 加好友 has become a Chinese way of socializing. In the following, you will read a dialogue about adding new friends and learn the grammar points 能 and 常.
